Pakistan captain Babar Azam is holding on to his top spot in the ODI ranking, with Indian skipper Virat Kohli inching closer behind him at no. 2 with an eight-point margin.
The 26-year-old right-handed batsman has 865 points to his credit, per International Cricket Council (ICC), while Kohli holds 857 points.
England all-rounder Chris Woakes, on the other hand, is at a career-best position on number three among bowlers in the MRF Tyres ICC Men’s ODI Player Rankings after putting up a stellar performance against Sri Lanka in the three-match ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup Super League series.
