Can the Southern Baptist Convention be saved?
“The Southern Baptist Convention is a good old ship that has taken on much water and is slowly sinking. The choices seemed to be to abandon the ship or to man the pumps.” This is how the late Dr. Adrian Rogers described his concerns for the convention to which he would eventually be elected president and go on to serve three two-year terms.
Whether the SBC is once again taking on water and sinking is a source of contention among many in the nation’s largest Protestant denomination. Due to increased tensions and unresolved issues, this year’s annual convention, to be held in Nashville June 15-16, will likely reveal what the people are really thinking.

This is the story of Judy Gay (Sproul) White. Judy was a wonderful woman who was loved, is missed beyond imagination, and will always be cherished. Judy was an amazing wife, mom, grandma, daughter, sister, farming partner, nurse, church pianist, weather tracker, and creator of the worldâs most coveted fruit salad recipe.
Judyâs story started on July 21, 1948, born in Tacoma, Washington, and adopted by Gilbert and Nellie Sproul of Ontario, Oregon. She and her siblings lived a happy farming life on the Oregon Slope and she became involved in 4-H, showing dairy animals at the Malheur County Fair and Oregon State Fair. It was her award-winning dairy showmanship at the fair that drew her future husband, Larry, to her, as they competed against each other (and she won).

Mangaluru, May 22: Ganesh Kelagina Beedu Shenoy who hails from Mangaluru, has entered acclaimed Golden Book of World Records for his artwork Most miniature paintings on a paper sheet .
He painted 1156 miniature paintings on a small paper card measuring 17 cm X 17 cm, and each miniature painting measures 0.5 cm X 0.5 cm using color pencils and acrylic colors.
Last year, Ganesh Shenoy had set a world record through World Record Certification Limited, UK for his miniature paintings. In 2019, he had broken both Asia Record and India Record with his 1029 miniature paintings on an A4 size paper sheet and had entered Asia Book of Records and India Book of Records.

Mangochi (Agenzia Fides) - A group of about 200 young women from all over Malawi have chosen to live their lives reaching out to others, in response to the Catholic faith and oriented to change the world. They are the young women of the Catholic Girls Arise movement, born in November 2020 after an online conference organized by the diocesan youth chaplaincy of Mangochi. Thanks to the commitment of the girls in favor of the physically disabled in the parish of Ulongwe, in the diocese of Mangochi, the volunteers were able to deliver wheelchairs, blankets, food and personal hygiene products to those most in need.
