A cybertip led to the arrest of a Gainesville man accused of having more than 50 pornographic photos and videos of children and babies.
Dominic Raymond Longo, 26, was arrested at the Alachua County Jail Thursday after deputies said a monthslong investigation revealed he had sexual images and video clips of infants and underage girls on Tumblr and Snapchat accounts.
In June, the Sheriff’s Office received a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children about the uploaded images a few depicting bestiality and sadomasochism.
A search warrant was completed of Lingo’s home in the 1500 block of Fort Clarke Boulevard in October, where multiple technology devices were seized. Two Samsung Galaxy cell phones belonging to or used by Longo were found with the images, deputies said.
