OCWD Vote Center hours are from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday. OCWD is located at 18700 Ward Street, Fountain Valley.

Reclamation investing $15.4 million to help communities mitigate drought and climate change impacts in Western United States

Reclamation is providing $15.4 million in grants to projects in the West that allow them to prepare for and respond to drought. These projects support a proactive approach to drought as it increases resilience to the impacts of climate change.

The projects selected will help communities prepare for the increased risk of a drought by increasing the reliability of water supplies and improving water management.

Fullerton Appoints Mayor Bruce Whitaker To Orange County Water District Board
Bruce Whitaker was appointed to the Orange County Water District (OCWD; the District) Board of Directors by the Fullerton City Council to represent Division 10, the city of Fullerton. Whitaker previously served on the OCWD Board from August 2012 to January 2014 and February 2017 to February 2019. He replaces former Director Ahmad Zahra.
“It is my distinct honor to serve on the OCWD Board again,” said Director Whitaker. “The city of Fullerton is fortunate to rely on the vast groundwater basin, managed by the District, that provides 77% of the water supply to 2.5 million people in north and central Orange County.
