He then placed both bodies in a bathtub in his Irvine home.
He told his daughters, ages 6 and 8, that their mother was away on business and not to open the bathroom door. Over the next couple of days, Nazeri continually filled the bathtub with ice to suppress the smell of the dead bodies, according to the Orange County District Attorney s Office. On Aug. 22, 2006, Nazeri s brother went to the house and noticed the foul odor and that Nazeri was behaving oddly. When his brother asked about the odor, Nazeri said that he had murdered his wife. Nazeri later claimed to be kidding, but his brother went to the Irvine Police Department that day, fearing that Nazeri was telling the truth and may kill himself or his daughters, according to the OCDA.

“She’s destroyed. And she’s only 5 years old.”

NEWPORT BEACH (CNS) - A 22-year-old man pleaded no contest and was immediately sentenced to 80 hours of community service today for his part in the alcohol poisoning death of a fellow UC Irvine fraternity member.
Jonathan Gabriel Villicana pleaded no contest to a misdemeanor count of allowing a party or gathering at which underage drinking is permitted. He was placed on one year of informal probation and ordered to attend self-help meetings.
Villicana was considered one of the least culpable as he was on the lease of the residence where the party was held and was in and out of the gathering and had no connection to the purchase or administering of the alcohol, his attorney Sal Ciulla said.
