A total number of 1,31,968 cases are reported in India in the last 24 hours and the total tally reached 1,30,60,542. 780 people passed away in the country in the last 24 hours and the number of recoveries in the country reached 1,31,968. The total number of deaths in India are now at 1,67,642 as per the reports from the Union Health Ministry. The active number of coronavirus cases in India stands at 9,79,608. The total number of people who took up coronavirus vaccination in the country are at 9,43,34,262. As per the reports from the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR), the total samples tested in India till yesterday are said to be 25,40,41,584 and the samples tested yesterday are 13,64,205.

With this, the infection tally in the state rose to 10.48 lakh. The toll climbed by 46 to 12,813.
