Doctors are treating a new flood of critically ill coronavirus patients with treatments from before the pandemic, to keep more patients alive and send them home sooner.
Last spring, with less known about the disease, doctors often pre-emptively put patients on ventilators or gave powerful sedatives largely abandoned in recent years. The aim was to save the seriously ill and protect hospital staff from Covid-19.

India has suspended all flights from UK to India from December 23-31
All passengers arriving in India on all international transit flights from the UK must undergo mandatory RT PCR tests on arrival.
Union Health Minister Harsh Vardhan announced the update in keeping with the Government of India’s decision on Monday to suspend all flights from UK to India from December 23 till December 31.
The tests apply to passengers arriving from the UK in all transit flights that is, flights that have either taken off or that reach India before 11.59 pm, December 22.
