Western Australia has scaled up the size of its contract tracing team in recent days from 50 to more than 100 according to Health Minister Roger Cook – who warns “we need to expect there could be more cases”.
“If there is, our contact tracing team will swing straight into action,” Mr Cook said.
“The SafeWA information is crucial to those contact tracing teams to do their jobs.
“Total scans are now around 165 million – all important information in the event our contact tracing team have to draw upon it.”
