Ohio will no longer inspect businesses for mask compliance, DeWine says Gov. Mike DeWine said Ohio’s health orders will be removed effective June 2. Restrictions will remain in nursing homes and assisted-living facilities, but all other health orders, including capacity limits, social distancing rules and the mask mandate, will end. Masks must also be worn in congregate settings, including schools and daycares. As of June 2, if schools are still in session it will be up to the district.
