By Joel Malkin The amount of COVID-19 vaccine coming into Palm Beach County is growing. During Tuesday s County Commission meeting, Dr. Alina Alonso said this week s total is 9,000 doses. We persisted and perhaps continuing to say We need vaccine! We need vaccine! and we did get some of that allotment sent to us so we re very happy about that. The county s health director says the county was getting around 5,000 doses per week, but Florida is getting an additional 40,000 doses from the federal government. Alonso says it will still be a few months before just anyone can get a shot.
