TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Florida Department of Health on Wednesday requested an audit after more than 1,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses were spoiled in Palm Beach County.
The department called on the Health Care District of Palm Beach County to complete the audit by Feb. 12.

Crews are preparing the South Florida Fairgrounds for a mass COVID-19 vaccination site, but nobody s sure when it will open, even though the goal is next Monday.
Palm Beach County says they will be able to vaccinate 7,000 people per day at the site, but they need to start getting enough doses first.
Workers were seen on Monday, lining cones up in the north end parking lot near a newly erected white tent.
The mini South Florida Fair wrapped up there on Sunday and officials with the fairgrounds said they were contacted by the county to see if they had availability of land to host a vaccine center.
