A total of 104 Primary Healthcare Centres (PHCs) across Bauchi State have been completely renovated and handed over to Bauchi State Primary Health Care Development Agency (BASPHCDA) by the Bauchi Field Office of the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
The latest of the facilities in Duguri, Alkaleri LGA was handed over, on Monday, to the government to enhance health care delivery services in the state.
While handing over the Yalwan Duguri Primary Health Care Centre, UNICEF Chief of Office, Mr Bahnu Pathak, said that UNICEF has supplied basic medical equipment to all the 323 Primary Health Care Centers across the state.
The DHA said three documents are required when visiting DHA COVID-19 vaccination facilities:
-Emirates ID
-A medical report proving that you have a chronic disease
DHA announces that it is providing the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine. It is part of DHA’s commitment to provide the public a choice of different vaccines.
The DHA announced that it stopped taking appointments for COVID-19 PCR testing at Al Barsha Health Centre since February 3, 2021.
Customers can book appointments for COVID-19 PCR testing at other DHA Primary Health Care Centres that include: Nad Al Hamar Health Centre, Al Mankhool Health Centre, Al Twar Health Centre, Nad Al Sheba Health Centre and Al Lusaily Health Centre.
Dubai: The Dubai Health Authority (DHA) has announced that it has stopped taking appointments for COVID-19 PCR testing at Al Barsha Health Centre since Wednesday (February 3).
Customers can book appointments for COVID-19 PCR testing at other DHA Primary Health Care Centres that include Nad Al Hamar Health Centre, Al Mankhool Health Centre, Al Twar Health Centre, Nad Al Sheba Health Centre and Al Lusaily Health Centre.
They can download the DHA App or call 800342 to book an appointment at one of these centres.
Other centres
DHA is also providing PCR testing services at its COVID-19 testing centres. Al Rashidiya Majlis and Jumeirah 1 Port Majlis are open all week from 11am to 6pm. Al Nasr Club is open from Sunday to Thursday from 7.30am to 1pm.

The world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa lit up with a very important message on Tuesday evening urging everyone to get vaccinated to curb the spread of coronavirus in the country.
The Burj Khalifa on its Twitter account said, “#BurjKhalifa lights up tonight to encourage everyone to take the COVID 19 vaccine.
“Protect yourself and your family. #GetVaccinated.”
Even the UAE leaders, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces, urged members of the public to take the vaccine shots for a healthy society.

Vaccination centres in the city wore a festive look, their walls decorated with flowers and balloons, for the launch of the COVID-19 vaccination drive on Saturday. Most of the healthcare workers in Yelahanka General Hospital and other vaccination centres in the city were visibly relieved to have an extra layer of protection.
