First Bus confirms Larbert depot coronavirus outbreak
The BBC reported that a spokesperson for the company said that there was “no evidence of a link between cases .
With roughly 300 staff at the depot, additional measures have been introduced to help prevent the further spread of the virus.
Staff who were in contact with the individuals who tested positive are self-isolating with full pay.
David Phillips, operations director for First Midland, said: We currently have eight of our colleagues at our First Midland Larbert depot with confirmed cases of Covid. The safety of our staff and customers is our number one priority and since these cases were identified, we have taken all necessary steps to minimise the risk of a spread of the infection.

A care home battling a mass outbreak of the Covid-19 virus has reported another rise in the numbers of residents and staff affected.
NHS Highland has now been notified of 35 confirmed cases in residents and 32 cases in staff at Meallmore Lodge Care Home, seven miles south of Inverness.
That is an increase of 11 people testing positive with the virus since yesterday.
Boris Johnson has defended his visit to a vaccine laboratory hit by a coronavirus outbreak amid claims his behaviour was “reckless” and “irresponsible”.
A number of cases were reported at the Valneva site in Livingston, West Lothian, ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit last Thursday.
At Prime Minister’s Questions, Mr Johnson said there are “few things more important” than the vaccination programme and recognising the work of the scientists involved.
SNP Westminster leader Ian Blackford had claimed it was an “irresponsible decision to go ahead with what was a PR stunt” and a “shocking error of judgment”.
The visit had already been controversial, with First Minister Nicola Sturgeon saying prior to it that it was not essential during lockdown.

He said: “The Prime Minister knew that the Livingston plant he was visiting had an outbreak of 14 Covid cases just 24 hours earlier.

Mr Johnson dismissed the complaints, saying it was important to see the “wonderful” companies and scientists working to defeat the virus.
