A Highland Council spokeswoman said: “We are aware of a confirmed case of a staff member at Miller Academy, a pupil at Thurso High School, and a separate case of a staff member at Thurso High School. A group of individuals from both schools have been advised to self-isolate for 10 days by Health Protection Scotland. Letters were issued to parents. All necessary action has been taken at the school and the setting remains open.
