As of today, Dec. 23, Nova Scotia has 35 active cases of COVID-19. Four new cases are being reported today.
Two cases are in Central Zone. One of the cases is a close contact of a previously reported case and the other case is under investigation.
One case is in Western Zone and is a close contact of a previously reported case.
One case is in Eastern Zone and is a close contact of a previously reported case. This case is not linked to the case reported in the Eskasoni First Nation community on Dec. 19.

As of today, Dec. 22, Nova Scotia has 40 active cases of COVID-19. Seven new cases are being reported today.
Three of the new cases are in Central Zone and are related to travel outside of Atlantic Canada. The people are self-isolating, as required. The other four cases are in Northern Zone and are close contacts of previously reported cases. COVID-19 is still here and wants us to let our guard down. But we are not going to let that happen after all the hard work and sacrifice by Nova Scotians, said Premier Stephen McNeil. We will contain the virus over the holiday season by keeping our gatherings small, wearing a mask and following all of the other public health protocols.
