Eversource included in 2021 Gender-Equality Index
BOSTON Eversource is once again among 380 companies from across the world to be included in the 2021 Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index, which recognizes companies committed to advancing women’s equality in the workplace and transparency in gender reporting. This is the third time Eversource has been included.
“Being recognized again in the Bloomberg Gender-Equality Index reflects our unyielding commitment to diversity and inclusion as one of our most important core values at Eversource,” said Eversource Vice President of Talent, Culture and Organizational Development Doreen Nichols. “We know that fostering an environment where everyone is respected, feels they belong and can thrive is critical to our success as we work to safely and reliably serve our customers.”

Virtual shopping competition starts Dec. 13
SPRINGFIELD Rachel’s Table, the food access program of the Jewish Federation of Western Massachusetts, is teaming up with Onedeeds, a product-based donation platform, to create Foodraiser 2020, a virtual shopping competition that anyone can participate in to feed those in need.
Foodraiser 2020, for individuals, lasts from Dec. 13 to Dec. 18, and for teams of teenagers, on Dec. 20, from 6 to 8 p.m. According to a Rachel’s Table press release, all food will be sent directly to Providence Ministries of Springfield, the Amherst Survival Center and the Franklin County Community Meals Program.
