1 dead, another wounded in Brinkley shooting; suspect sought

Photo: Chadwick Reed, suspect in a shooting at Brinkley Thursday. One person was shot and died and another was wounded at a Brinkley residence Thursday. Special agents of the Arkansas State Police (ASP) have been assigned to lead the investigation and search for a suspect. Officers of the Brinkley Police Department contacted ASP about 5 p.m., after they found the crime scene inside a home at 13 East Willow Street. Kaleisha McNeil, 25, was pronounced dead at the scene. Tavious Alexander Palmer, 26, was transported to a Memphis hospital and is reported to be in serious condition. Both McNeil and Palmer lived at the Willow Street residence.
