The Orange County Sheriff's Office is investigating two different crime scenes that are separated by less than a mile. However, it remains unclear if the two incidents are connected.
An injured male who was found in a vehicle after a shooting was reported in Zellwood has died as a result of his injuries, according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.
Police in Mount Dora and Clermont are investigating two unrelated shootings that occurred over the weekend.
Police in Mount Dora have identified a suspect in that city’s incident as Ronald “Reggie” Debose and an attempted murder warrant has been issued for his arrest.
He is described as 5-foot-9, a muscular 190 pounds, and believed to be armed with a handgun.
The shooting occurred on Friday in the area of Grant Avenue and Orange Street.
“The male victim was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center,” according to a press release. The department did not release his name.
