Renowned historian and Second Republic member of the Senate, Prof. Banji Akintoye, has raised the alarm, alleging that terrorists have invaded and encircled the South-West geo-political zone of Nigeria. x
In a letter, he personally wrote to all South-West governors, the leader of the apex Yoruba self-determination group, Ilana Omo Oodua, urged the leaders to be vigilant and ensure that their fatherland is not captured by foreign invaders.
According to a statement made available to journalists in Ibadan, yesterday, by his Communications Manager, Maxwell Adeleye, Akintoye said the new midnight curfew announced by the Federal Government to curtail the spread of COVID-19 looked suspicious with clandestine motives.

In other words, it is about how information presented to the audience, influences the choices people make about how to process, see, and continue to hold that piece of information.
This has been my thought since the one-minute video where Pastor Paul Adefarasin of the House on the Rock Church advised his congregation to get a Plan B. The media continues to feast on the video while Nigerians fall over themselves to have their say on Adefarasin’s unequivocal comments therein.
His abduction was confirmed by a member of the church who simply identified himself as Brother Paul.
“He was kidnapped inside the church. They came with a black Corolla sport car. He was kidnapped alone,” the church member said.
Security operatives are yet to react to the report as at the time of filing the report.
His abduction happened a day after men of the Amotekun corps arrested four suspects for kidnapping three persons along Oda road in Akure.
The suspects were said to have kidnapped the victims along Pelepe area of Oda road last Friday.
Addressing Journalists, Amotekun commander, Adetunji Adeleye, said the suspects took advantage of the rainfall on the said day to perpetrate the act.

Gunmen suspected to be kidnappers, on Monday evening, stormed a Deeper Life Bible Church in Irese in Akure South Local Government Area of Ondo State and abducted the pastor in charge of the church, Pastor Otamayomi Ogedengbe.
The men who came into the church premises with a black Toyota Corolla vehicle, whisked the Pastor away around 8:37 pm, while other members of the church ran away.
According to a member of the church, the men entered into the church premises and went straight to the Pastor, who was a retired Director in the ministry of education and took him away.
