Philip, Queen Elizabeth II s husband of 73 years who was also known as the Duke of Edinburgh, died on Friday at the age of 99.
A service held at St Andrew s Cathedral in Sydney paid tribute to the royal who made many state visits with his wife to Australia.
Governor-General David Hurley and his wife also attended the service along with New South Wales Premier Gladys Berejiklian.
