Bangladeshi author Taslima Nasreen has come under fire after posting a controversial tweet about cricketer Moeen Ali.
The author, who is known for her writing s on women s oppression, and open criticism of Islam, stated on Twitter, If Moeen Ali had not stuck to cricket he would have gone to Syria to join ISIS.

After having deleted the tweet, the author took to Twitter again to issue a clarification. She claimed that her remarks were sarcastic and that an issue was made about her tweets to humiliate her because she tries to make Muslim society more secular.

AHMEDABAD - Match-winner Jos Buttler praised England captain Eoin Morgan as a pioneer after his landmark 100th Twenty20 appearance in Tuesday s victory over India.
Buttler, whose unbeaten 83 eclipsed India skipper Virat Kohli s swashbuckling 77, said Morgan was an inspiration to up-and-coming England cricketers.

AHMEDABAD - Jos Buttler powered England to an eight-wicket victory over India on Tuesday, with the tourists taking a 2-1 lead in their five-match Twenty20 series despite a sparkling innings from Virat Kohli.
The home skipper s 77-run blitz revived India after a poor start and saw them to 156-6 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, which was kept empty because of the rising number of coronavirus cases in India.
