TOOELE A Tooele County man already accused of possessing child pornography in one criminal case faces a new charge accusing him of uploading more child porn after he was released from custody.
Marcus Lars Memmott, 24, of Stockton, was charged Tuesday in 3rd District Court with 14 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, a second-degree felony. That s in addition to the 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor that were filed against him in the same court six months earlier. Those charges stemmed from distribution of child pornography using a peer-to-peer network from his address. Child pornography was located on Memmott s cellphone. Memmott was released subject to the court s detailed pretrial conditions on Dec. 22, 2020, his new charges state.
