Kin allege scarcity of oxygen The Moradabad administration on Thursday launched a probe to find out the exact cause of death of six patients at a private hospital after their relatives alleged that they had died due to the shortage of oxygen.
While the relative of one of the dead patients claimed that 16-17 persons on oxygen support had died due to disruption in oxygen supply after 3 a.m. on Thursday, the administration maintained that there was no shortage of oxygen at the hospital and that only six persons had died during the said period.

Deutsche Telekom has petitioned a US court asking it to enforce a $1.2 billion compensation award against Antrix Corp, the commercial arm of India’s space agency, for cancelling a satellite contract with Devas Multimedia, in which the German telecom company is a strategic shareholder.
Deutsche Telekom has sought that India pay its share of $135 million in damages in the case where the US federal court for the western district of Washington had last October upheld the International Chamber of Commerce’s arbitration award of over $1.2 billion ($562 million plus interest) in 2015.

A community service centre has been set up to bring all data on board Indiaâs first dedicated solar space mission to a single web-based interface enabling the users to quickly look at the data and identify the interesting science cases, the Ministry of Science and Technology said on Tuesday (27 April).
The service centre called Aditya-L1 Support Cell (AL1SC) - a joint effort of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and Aryabhatta Research Institute of Observational Sciences (ARIES) under the Ministry of Science and Technolgy - will be used by the guest observers in analysing science data and preparing science-observing proposals.
