Bollywood s oldest film producers body The Indian Motion Picture Producers Association (IMPPA) has extended financial help to its members in time of the ongoing COVID crisis. IMPPA welfare trust has informed all its members, including those who have not been able to pay their membership fees, to send bank details to the association so that the trust can transfer Rs 3000 to them.
Filmmaker Ashoke Pandit told ETimes, In the last lockdown too IMPPA stood by its members and helped them with their basic needs. Now that things are not looking good the EC has decided to follow the same procedure and help our members during these difficult times. IMPPA was gracious enough to donate Rs 10 lakh last time to the daily wage workers.
