Pakistan rejects Indian claim of drone attacks in IIOJ&K

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan categorically rejected what it said were ‘irresponsible’ and ‘misleading’ statements by Indian Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy, regarding an alleged drone attack in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).
“While conveniently choosing not to share any evidence, the Indian government has once again leveled serious allegations against Pakistan. This is yet another manifestation of the unsubstantiated propaganda and smear campaign against Pakistan that is characteristic of the Indian government and an obliging Indian media”, said the Foreign Office on Wednesday.

Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa Wednesday said a well-equipped, trained and motivated army having unwavering support of its people could surmount any challenge.
He, addressing the National Defence University (NDU)’s participants of National Security and War Course (NSWC) – 21, emphasised that the forces that wished to undermine the unbreakable bond between armed forces and the nation were bound to fail, said an ISPR news release.
The army chief visited NDU, Islamabad and addressed participants of the NSWC–21.
Speaking on the occasion, he dilated upon the evolving strategic and regional environment.
Pakistan stands for peace within and all around, as it looks forward to acting as a bridge between regions, the COAS said.

In May 2020, the Labour leader may not have realised that the Kashmir issue will come to haunt him when he took a u-turn on the historical Labour party position. He said: “Any constitutional issues in India are a matter for the Indian Parliament, and Kashmir is a bilateral issue for India and Pakistan to resolve peacefully. Labour is an internationalist party and stands for the defence of human rights everywhere,” Starmer said on April 30 after a meeting with the members of the Labour Friends of India group.

ISLAMABAD: The Foreign Office on Wednesday dismissed Indian allegations about Pakistan’s role in a drone attack in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir as “irresponsible”.
“Pakistan categorically rejects the irresponsible and misleading statement by Indian Minister of State for Home Affairs G. Kishan Reddy regarding an alleged drone attack in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir,” the FO said.
Mr Reddy had earlier said that Pakistan’s role could not be ruled out in the Jammu Air Force station attack.
