Pakistan will continue to support Kashmiris’ struggle: President

President Dr Arif Alvi says that Pakistan will continue to extend its support to the Kashmiris in their just struggle for the right to self-determination.
Addressing a ceremony in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Day in Islamabad today (Thursday), he urged the United Nations and international community to play its due role in resolving the longstanding dispute.
The President said there are numerous UN resolutions demanding plebiscite in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Dr Arif Alvi said over eight million people have been besieged in the occupied territory by nine hundred thousand Indian troops.

Foreign Office Spokesperson Zahid Hafeez Chaudhry says the BJP regime in India has issued more than three million fake domiciles to non-Kashmiris to change demography in the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
Addressing the weekly news briefing in Islamabad today (Thursday), he said besides killings and tortures, thousands of innocent Kashmiris are being kept in illegal detention to suppress the freedom struggle.
He said Pakistan s missions around the world will arrange seminars and also engage the international media to highlight the atrocities and human rights violations being committed by Indian forces in the occupied territory.

The Tehreek-e-Kashmir United Kingdom (TeK UK) held an online Kashmir solidarity conference in connection with Kashmir Solidarity Week to take notice of Indian illegal occupation, and grave human rights violations in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJK).
Distinguished guests from the UK, US, Pakistan and other parts of the world said that the struggle of Kashmiris was based on rights and Justice and are struggling for the implementation of the United Nations Security Council Resolutions.
They said that for 70 years, India has usurped the human and democratic rights of Kashmiris and occupied Kashmir by force of arms.

The National Assembly once again witnessed scenes of chaos on Thursday as the opposition resorted to noisy protests during the debate on the 26th Constitutional Amendment Bill on the second consecutive day.
The house descended into a shoving match between members of the treasury and the opposition, due to which a few parliamentarians fell on the floor, while a Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) member took the mic down from the deputy speaker’s dais in protest.
