Qatar- HMC honors Bangladesh, Nepal embassy representatives, ICBF

(MENAFN - Gulf Times) Dr. Hanadi Al Hamad, Qatar s National Health Strategy lead for Healthy Ageing and Medical Director of Rumailah Hospital and Qatar Rehabilitation Institute, has recognized representatives of the embassies of Bangladesh and Nepal in Doha and the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) for their efforts in providing social and psychological support to patients of these nationalities, Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) said in press statement Saturday. >> HMC s Dr. Hanadi Al Hamad Honours Representatives of Bengali, Nepalese Embassies and ICBF for Their Role in Supporting Patients of Their Communities . HMC cooperates with the embassies of Bangladesh and Nepal and the ICBF to facilitate access for patients of these communities to healthcare services at the right time and place, including rehabilitation and long-term care services, by addressing language challenges and speeding up the processing of official correspondences.    

Qatar- Singh Seva Group organises blood donation drive

(MENAFN - Gulf Times)  Singh Seva Group, in association with Blood Donors Kerala and Qatar Cranks, organised a blood donation campaign at Asian Town, Industrial Area, on February 9, 2021 as part of Qatar Sport Day. Hamad Medical Corporation allocated two fully-equipped mobile blood donation units with a team of medical professionals. Kuljeet Singh Arora, second secretary, Embassy of India, graced the function. The newly elected officials of Indian Community Benevolent Forum including president Ziad Usman, vice president Vinod V Nair, general secretary Sabith Saheer, managing committee members Dinesh Gowda, Sameer Wani, Moninder Singh, Kuldeep Kaur and Carol Gonsalves were present. More than 200 members donated blood at the camp and around 70 members enrolled in the popular group insurance scheme of ICBF. The event was conducted according to the Covid-19 protocol issued by the authorities.

QISF organizes mass blood donation camp to mark Qatar National Day Media Release December 12, 2020 On the occasion of celebration of Qatar National Day, Qatar Indian Social Forum (QISF), Karnataka State organized a mass blood donation camp in Doha Qatar, in association with Blood Donors Mangaluru, Warriors Sports Center and Hamad Medical Corporation on 11th December 2020, Friday. QISF Karnataka State President, Nazeer Pasha welcomed the guests, dignitaries and blood donors. The Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated by Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) President Mr. P N Baburajan who was the Chief guest for the function. In his inaugural speech, he emphasized that, QISF is well known for its humanitarian activities since its inception and praised the initiative and joint efforts of everyone to organize such a mass event and assured his full support as and when required in the days ahead.
