BJP should leave politics if they donât get 200 seats: Prashant Kishor

Poll strategist Prashant Kishor on Tuesday said that the BJP leadership should leave their current posts if they fail to fulfill their claim of winning 200 out of 294 Assembly seats in West Bengal.
Talking to FPJ, Kishor, the former JD (U) politician who runs the Indian Political Action Committee (I-PAC), said that the BJP leadership should at least leave their current posts within the party or should leave politics if they do not win 200 seats. Union Home Minister Amit Shah during his visit to Bengal said they will win 200 odd seats. If they donât, they should have the courage to come on record and say that they will mark their exit from Indian politics. If not, so they should at least give up their posts within the party, mentioned Kishor adding that he will definitely leave Twitter, if his poll tactics go wrong for the ruling Trinamool Congress.

Ahead of the 2021 West Bengal Assembly elections, political strategist Prashant Kishor took to Twitter predicting a crushing defeat for the BJP. The BJP, he opined, would even struggle to get seats beyond the double digits in the Assembly.

Political strategist Prashant Kishor, who has been working as the advisor of West Bengal s ruling party, the Trinamool Congress (TMC), asserted on Monday that the BJP, which is hopeful of topping the Mamata Banerjee government ruling the state since 2011, will not be able to get to three-digit figures in the coming Assembly elections.

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Saumitra Khan s wife Sujata Mondal Khan joined Trinamool Congress in Kolkata on Monday. Saumitra Khan is the president of Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha and Member of Parliament from Bishnupur in West Bengal. This comes two days after former TMC heavyweight Suvendu Adhikari joined the BJP in presence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah.
According to news agency PTI, Sujata claimed that she did not get her due recognition even after taking several risks to get her husband elected during 2019 Lok Sabha elections. She alleged that newly inducted, misfit and corrupt leaders are getting more importance in the saffron camp than the loyal ones.
