Wabash Valley could see COVID vaccine by the end of the week
The first shipments of the COVID-19 vaccine have been sent across Indiana. Hospitals in the Wabash Valley are next.

VIGO COUNTY, Ind. (WTHI) Health officials are being moved to tears at the sight of a COVID-19 vaccine in our state. They said they can see light at the end of the tunnel, but we aren t out of the dark just yet.

Today, Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer, Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, and Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers joined together in a social media video to encourage everyone across the region to remain safe heading into the holiday season.

INDIANAPOLIS On Wednesday, Indiana Governor Eric Holcomb announced the state is asking hospitals to delay or postpone non-emergency or non-critical care procedures for three weeks in an effort to clear hospital beds for COVID-19 patients and relieve strain on health care workers.
“Living in pain every day is not fun,” said Nicole Emmert, 22. She s battled pain recently because of chronic painful bladder syndrome.
“It’s affected a lot of my social life with me being in pain all the time,” Emmert said.
