August 12, 2021 Thirty-one people – 29 residents of Cambria, Indiana, Allegheny, Philadelphia and Montgomery Counties in Pennsylvania, one resident of Long Beach, California, and one resident of Middletown, Delaware – have been indicted by a federal grand jury in Johnstown on a charge of violating federal narcotics laws, Acting United States Attorney Stephen R. Kaufman announced today.

TWO MEN SENTENCED IN INDIANA COUNTY COURT By Hometown4
A pair of men was sentenced after appearing in Indiana County Court today.
In a news release, Judge Michael T. Clark sentenced 28-year-old Tyler Dotts to serve time in Indiana County Jail and to pay costs in two counts of driving under the influence and possession of a controlled substance. According to the Indiana County District Attorney’s Office, Dotts was arrested following an incident on Feb. 19, 2020 in South Mahoning Township.
Dotts will serve 9 months to 5 years along with paying costs in one count. For the second count, he will serve one year of probation which will run concurrently with the first count.
Former teacher accused of sexually assaulting teenage student Greg Deffenbaugh
A former Indiana County teacher has been arrested and charged with sexually assaulting a former student.
Patrick J. McKee, 60, was charged Thursday, after detectives say he sexually assaulted a 13-year-old while employed for the Indiana Area School District.
According to police, McKee met the victim at a youth sports function. Over the course of several months, McKee began to groom the child and invited them back to his home. That’s when the victim says McKee would sexually assault them.
The victim is now an adult.
The initial complaint was filed with the Indiana Area School District, who alerted police.
A former Indiana County District Attorney will make a second run for the vacancy on the County's board of judges. Pat Dougherty announced his candidac.
