Sapientia Gloria Corona Est curated by Shauta Marsh and featuring works by Audrey Barcio and Rachel Leah Cohn opens Saturday, May 15 and runs through Saturday, June 26. An opening reception with limited capacity per the University of Southern Indiana’s Covid-19 guidelines will be held from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday, May 15. An artist talk will be held at 1 p.m. on the closing day, Saturday, June 26.

In an update provided shortly before 10:30 a.m., Indy Metro Police said there are only three confirmed people shot in this incident. Two male victims were pronounced dead and a female victim is listed in serious condition.
Detectives say a fourth person, believed to possibly have been grazed by a bullet, had been taken to the hospital before police arrived at the hotel where the shooting happened. Detectives have since determined that the person’s injuries were likely from falling and not from a gunshot wound. Police have identified the person and will follow up with him as part of their investigation.

Two people are dead and two others are in serious condition after a shooting in front of a hotel in downtown Indianapolis early Monday morning, according to police.
The shooting occurred shortly before 1 a.m. outside the Fairfield Inn & Suites across from the Indiana State Museum in the 500 block of West Washington Street. Shots were fired in front of the hotel, a police report indicates, and two men were killed.
Another man and a woman were seriously injured in the shooting and were taken to a hospital, according to police. No suspects have been taken into custody in the incident.
