The Indiana State Department of Health on Saturday reported 1,380 new COVID-19 cases, the fourth day in a row with more than 1,200 reported cases.
Cases have topped 1,000 in eight of the past 11 daily reports.
The seven-day moving average of positive cases in Indiana was 1,101 on Friday, up from 1,065 on Thursday and from 852 two weeks ago.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 increased from 785 on Thursday to 870 on Friday, their highest mark since Feb. 24. The all-time high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The state reported seven new deaths from COVID-19, raising the cumulative total to 12,733.

The Indiana State Department of Health on Saturday reported 1,159 new cases of COVID-19, the fourth day in a row that cases have topped 1,000.
The seven-day moving average of positive cases in Indiana was 1,009 on Friday, up from 775 two weeks ago.
The state reported five new deaths from COVID-19, raising the cumulative total to 12,667.
The health department reported the testing of 5,320 new individuals.
Statewide hospitalizations due to COVID-19 fell from 697 on Thursday to 681 on Friday. The high mark was 3,460, set on Nov. 30.
The state said more than 1.22 million Hoosiers had been fully vaccinated against COVID-19 as of Saturday at 5 a.m. More than 1.75 million had received the first dose of a two-dose vaccination.
