REAP is a four-year program that professionally trains apprentice lineworkers from across Indiana.
Graduates complete 612 hours of classroom-related study and 8,000 hours of on-the-job training at their electric cooperative. Students also complete four additional classes through Ivy Tech Community College. Upon completion of the program, graduates earn an Associate of Applied Science and a journeyman lineman certificate.

Indiana Electric Cooperatives (IEC) named Michael Charbonneau to its government relations team. He will serve as the association s director of external government relations.
Charbonneau will be responsible for representing IEC, its member cooperatives and the generation and transmission cooperatives with state and federal government. He will lobby and assist with the development and implementation of legislative and regulatory strategies. He will also develop and expand key relationships, including with state agencies, state government and other stakeholders to advocate on behalf of IEC s member cooperatives and member-consumers.
