Prince Harry and Meghan Markle Announce First Netflix Documentary Series

Prince Harry and
Meghan Markle have announced their first Netflix project as part of their multi-year deal with the streaming giant.
Heart of Invictus will be a docuseries on the Invictus Games, a competition for wounded service members and veterans that Prince Harry founded in 2014.
The series will follow competitors from around the globe as they prepare for the Invictus Games The Hague, set to take place in 2022. The show will document their training and reveal their compelling stories and life-changing injuries.

The docuseries will follow a group of competitors from around the globe, all service members who have experienced life-changing injuries, as they prepare for the Invictus Games The Hague 2020, which are now taking place in 2022 after being postponed by the pandemic.
Described as a multi-episode series,
Heart of Invictus will follow the subjects through their training process, revealing stories of both hope and resilience. Along with shining a light on competitors, the series will also follow the organizers as they work on getting the Games together following postponement.

Following on from the news that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have signed a major production deal with Netflix, the first project as a result of the partnership has been announced. Unsurprisingly, it focuses on a subject close to the couple’s hearts – that of the Invictus Games, which Prince Harry founded back in 2014.
A press release on 6 April broke the news that Archewell Productions, the arm of Harry and Meghan’s Archewell organisation that forms their ‘creative partnership with Netflix’, is set to produce its first series, titled
