of your children are popular actors. How does that make you feel?
Five of my children are actually in the movie industry. Bidemi and Sola are actors while Tunde is a director. Their siblings, Temilade and Muyiwa, are also in the industry.
Late Orisabunmi’s sister dies days after brother’s demise

A veteran Yoruba actress, Folake Aremu, popularly known as Orisabunmi, her younger sister, and elder brother have all died in the space of 72 hours.
PREMIUM TIMES reported Orisabunmi’s death which came only months after the death of her ex-husband, Jimoh Aliu, better known as Aworo, who died on September 17, 2020.
Orishabunmi died late Tuesday night after a brief illness at the age of 60.
Three days after the death of the popular Yoruba actress, her younger sister, Janet Ademola, has reportedly passed on.

The creative sector continues to lose some of its best to the cold clutches of death.
IT’S not been a good week in art house with the Grim Reaper continuing from where it left off in December. A former president of the Association of Nigerian Authors and Minister of State for Education, Professor Jerry Agada and prolific movie director, Chico Ejiro, were some of the high-profile departures from the creative sector in the last month of 2020.
But despite prayers for a halt to the deaths, two other eminent art personalities passed days apart during the week. Veteran journalist and former Vice President of the Association of Nigerian Authors (ANA), Otunba Eddie Aderinokun passed on Sunday, January 3 at 80.

She died in the late hours of Tuesday, January 5, in Ibadan.
Orisabumi’s death was confirmed by the Governor of Theater Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) in Oyo State, Mrs Rose Odika who spoke with Tribune Online.
Odika said the actress died of a brief illness after two days in the hospital.
According to her, as at the time of filing this report, the deceased’s body was being moved to the morgue.
President of Association of Nigerian Theatre Practitioners (ANTP), Mr Adewale Elesho described the incident as a sad one.
“We have just survived Covid-19, EndSARS and all that came with 2020. It’s sad we had to lose Orisabunmi this time around. May we not experience such anymore,” he told Tribune Online.

Mr Amusan says Orishabunmi was an orator who would perfectly chant eloquently with her resounding sonorous voice, adding that the industry would surely miss her.
