Hyundai has added a sportier N Line variant to the i20 supermini line-up, with prices starting at £22,395.
Inspired by the upcoming i20 hot-hatch, the N Line version sets itself apart from regular i20s with a more aggressive look and larger alloy wheels.
The 1.0-litre turbocharged engine, complete with a mild-hybrid system, develops 120PS in N Line models - a power bump of 20PS.
Two transmissions are available: a six speed manual (iMT) that features an electronically controlled clutch to decouple the transmission from the engine under certain driving conditions to enhance efficiency, or a seven speed dual clutch automatic (£23,645).

Hyundai reveals IONIQ 5 EV for North America
Hyundai Motor North America introduced the IONIQ 5 (earlier post), an electric crossover utility vehicle (CUV) with a targeted driving range of 300 miles, design inspired by Hyundai’s ‘45’ EV concept (unveiled at the International Motor Show (IAA) 2019 in Frankfurt ), relevant technology and ultra-fast charging from 10 to 80% SoC in as little as 18 minutes.
IONIQ 5 rides on Hyundai’s Electric-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) that allows for more interior space and optimized performance. IONIQ 5 is part of Hyundai Motor Group’s plan to introduce 23 BEV models and sell 1 million BEV units worldwide by 2025.

IONIQ 5 will initially be sold in Hyundai stores in the 10 zero-emissions vehicle (ZEV) states plus Texas, Florida, Illinois, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, and Arizona followed by a broader rollout in 2022.
