Wanda Joyce Mason Willis, 80 of Bridgeport, went to be with her Lord on Dec. 29, 2020 after a long battle with Parkinsonâs Disease.
Surviving Mrs. Willis are daughters, Gail (Joe) Moore of Scottsboro and Amy (Jim) Johnson of Bishop, Georgia; beloved grandson, George Collier Johnson; dedicated brothers, James Edward (Faye) Mason of Hopkinsville, Kentucky, Charles âBuddyâ (Anna) Mason of Nashville, Tennessee, Hugh Nelson (Sonja) Mason of Old Hickory, Tennessee and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends whom she loved dearly.
In recent years, she was especially blessed to have a host of friends and neighbors who helped the family to make it possible for her to enjoy living independently in her home despite her declining health.

Local Church Hosts Drive Thru Live Nativity
Christmas Day is only a week away and Jesus Christ birth should always be at the center of the celebration. One local Tuscaloosa church is hosting a one night only event for the family and friends to enjoy! Nativity scenes always create a great way for everyone to learn and experience what was like to be there at the birth of Jesus Christ. Hope was born on Christmas and you can experience for yourself.
The Remnant Worship Center of Tuscaloosa is hosting a Drive Thru Live Nativity this Sunday night December 20, 2020 5:30-7:30pm. Come celebrate the Christmas season with them as you see where it all began - Let The Christmas Story Come to Life! Come drive thru the streets of Bethlehem and witness the villagers, live animals, angel choir and The Manger all while enjoying hot chocolate and cookies! Everything is FREE!

Deadline is today for diocese free Noël Dinner
Today marks the reservation deadline for community members wishing to participate in the Roman Catholic Diocese of Portland’s 18th annual free Noël Dinner. Due to COVID precautions, this year’s holiday dinner will served via home deliveries on Christmas Eve, Dec. 24.
The meal will include corn chowder, ham with a choice of raisin or pineapple sauce, cornbread stuffing, scalloped potatoes, garlic honey carrots, a salad and dessert. The meal will be prepared by chef Justin Walker of Walker’s Maine Restaurant in York.
All community members are welcome to reserve complimentary meals by calling 967-1911 or by visiting www.communityharvestonline.org. All meal reservations must be made in advance by Dec. 15. The delivery of meals will adhere to CDC guidelines for social distancing, sanitizing and other safety measures.
