A webinar on the Council of Europe standards for preventing and combating trafficking in human beings and protecting victims was organised in the framework of the European Union and Council of Europe joint action on Preventing and Combating Trafficking in Human Beings in North Macedonia“, in cooperation with the Academy for judges and prosecutors. The event was attended by 100 participants, including judges, prosecutors, lawyers and members of the National Anti-trafficking Commission.

How to apply the Free Legal Aid system in cases addressing domestic violence and justice for children will be part of the trainings organised in North Macedonia for attorneys and legal professionals, organised with the support of the EU and Council of Europe joint programme Horizontal Facility II. The police stations and penitentiary institutions in North Macedonia are supporting the awareness raising initiative from the EU and Council of Europe joint Horizontal Facility II programme about enhancing the protection of fundamental human rights in the police stations and prisons.
