Buffalo residents attended 'Community Day' where they were greeted by hamburgers, hot dogs and children's bicycle helmets provided by the Police Athletic League, where members of anti-violence organizations were able to provide information and support.

BUFFALO, N.Y. A Lockport woman was sentenced to probation for five years for stealing from her former employer.
Kathleen Donhauser, 63, plead guilty last December in State Supreme Court to one count of Grand Larceny in the third degree.
Investigators say Donhauser admitted that between May 14, 2013, and April 19, 2017, she stole $389,187.00 while working for Hart Hotels, Inc.
The Erie County District Attorney s office says Donhauser used the money to pay her personal credit card bills.
As part of her plea deal, she is ordered to pay restitution to Hart Hotels. She has paid back $183,092 so far. At her sentencing, the judge ordered Donhauser to pay the remaining $206,094.73.
