Victoria has just got a new music festival, and where do we get a ticket, because it’s looking like an absolute doozy. Going down on Saturday March 27, Euroa Music Festival will bring some of Australia’s most exciting artists to the charming heritage town nestled at the base of the Strathbogie Ranges.

I love music, especially new music. I’ve always bought and listened to loads of it. Like everyone, I have my favourite bands and favourite genres but I’ve always been keen to hear new things. As i got older, I found myself doing this less as life became busier. I noticed that people in my age group were no longer interested in discovering new artists like they did when they were younger.
Eleven years ago I decided to start writing a music list that talked about my favourite releases in the year, culminating in an annual top 10. I like writing so it’s been fun and a good record for me to keep. It’s also been a way that a lot of my friends get introduced to new artists.

Rolling Blackouts Coastal Fever have been regularly dipping into Sideways To New Italy since its release back in the height of spring last year, and have done so again this week with a video for The Only One.
The band’s second studio album put their focus back on home, named after the village near New South Wales’s Northern Rivers where drummer Marcel Tussie hails. “This is the thing about travel; it broadens the mind but can narrow your perspective,” our review reads.
