In association with Lay it Out Events, Visit Central Oregon, and Travel Oregon, the Redmond Chamber of Commerce & CVB is proud to present the 1st Annual Valentines Showing of the Redmond Northern Lights Event starting February 5th & 6th from dusk until around 9:30, and continuing from the 12th-14th. The Redmond Northern Lights is a brand new seasonal multimedia experience that will be projected on the center facade of Redmond’s City Hall. Including original, fun, and family friendly animation that interacts with the building’s facade, this light show experience is the perfect way to remain COVID safe while still celebrating Valentines Day!

Visit Lebanon Valley commences second county-wide Java Journey

Group of participants in 2020 at The Important Thing. Visit Lebanon Valley, the Destination Marketing Organization in Lebanon County has commenced a second county-wide Java Journey. The Java Journey is a self-guided trail that features nine locally-owned coffee shops. The Journey will take place from January 14, 2021 until February 27, 2021. The rules of the Java Journey are similar to last year. To participate, a customer can purchase a mug and passport for $7 from any of the participating businesses; Timeless Cafe, The Important Thing Cafe, Ancestor Coffeehouse & Creperie, 3J’s Coffee, The Porch and Pantry, Baked Sweet, Sydney Coffee Roasters, and Swatara Coffee Company. Once the participant has purchased these items, they will make their way to the ten shops where they will have the opportunity to purchase a secret menu item that is only made available to those on the trail.
