(OLNEY) The Olney City Council meet last night in regular session. The Council : approved the payment of all accounts as presented : approved the City of Olney’s Tax Levy for fiscal year 2021 with no increase : approved both the Police and Firefighters Pension Tax Levies : approved an additional $50,000 payment to the Illinois Municipal Retirement Fund (IMRF) : amended the city budget to include $86,900 for interior painting of the Taylor Water Tower : agreed to dedicate $13,900 for storm drainage work along the CSX railroad tracks in conjunction with the Elliott Street Bridge Project : heard an update on funding for the Route 130 Sidewalk Project : accepted the quotes for liability, workers compensation, automobile, and miscellaneous insurance coverages for 2021 from A.J.
