The BBC has announced the first set of celebrity guest judges for RuPaul series two
Sheridan Smith is amongst the first set of famous faces that have been announced as guest judges on the second series of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK.
The 39-year-old is a superstar singer and performer on both stage and screen, but she’s also a self-confessed Drag Race superfan! She’ll be joining the regular judges RuPaul, Alan Carr, Michelle Visage and Graham Norton to form the fiercest panel around on the BBC Three hit.
Lawrence Chaney BBC 3 A GLASWEGIAN will compete in the upcoming series of RuPaul s Drag Race UK - and he claims he is inspired by Michelle McManus. Lawrence Chaney, 23, from Glasgow, was unveiled today as one of the hopefuls hoping to be crowned the UK s top drag queen. The promising star joked: I m kind of like Mary Queen of Scots only I hope one of these English drag queens doesn t chop off my head. Every single stereotype you are thinking right now of what a Scottish person is - I am. He added: I m inspired by worldwide legends. Lady Gaga, Madonna, Yootha Joyce and Michelle McManus.

series two has been revealed.
The reality show competition returns to our screens on 14 January.
Twelve new queens will be competing to be named the UK’s next drag superstar.
RuPaul and Michelle Visage will be returning as judges, along with guest judges Graham Norton and Alan Carr.
