People to get vaccinated during daytime in holy Ramadan, says IF

DHAKA, Mar 15, 2021 (BSS) – The Islamic Foundation Bangladesh (IF)today confirmed that any individual can receive the corona vaccine during the fasting as the ongoing vaccination lunched by the government will not cause any affect to the fasting of a particular person.
The foundation came with the opinion in a view exchange meeting comprising with noted Islamic scholars and the high officials of the foundation, held at the conference room here today.
“As the COVID-19 vaccine is usually being received into the muscle and directly has no access to alimentary canal (esophagus) and stomach, so vaccination is not barrier in fasting during day time in holy Ramadan…it will not break the fasting,”according to foundation release based on the opinion of the Islamic scholars.

From the discussion of the previous episode, it has been understood that the history of Islamic education in Bangladesh is very ancient. There is a glorious chapter of this education in this country. It is a lesson that is learnt for development of soul. Considering the national consciousness of Muslims and the necessity of independent identity, Islamic education was able to retain its glory throughout Bengal for thousands of years. This type of education took a special place in schools, colleges, madrassas and universities. Despite being fiercely anti-Islamic, the British rulers could not destroy the Islamic education. At that time also, Islamic education was compulsory in schools and colleges.

The journey of education system in this subcontinent started with madrassa education. However, one can think it otherwise, but, none can deny religion. And none wants to abuse religion.
It is worth-mentioning that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina at a meeting in Ganobhaban with Alem-Ulama on 4 October, 2018 dwelt on madrassa education. I quote her statement below: “Millions of boys and girls study in madrassa. Many poor orphans of the country find a place in madrassa. But they did not have any recognition. Today, I have done that by giving recognition to Qawmi Madrassa. I feel the people of the country have become happy with this recognition. It is my great satisfaction that I have been able to ensure the future of those who are studying in Qawmi Madrassa.”
