An adviser to Iranian parliament speaker, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, said on Iran’s Arabic-language Al-Alam TV that perpetrators of the attack were arrested.
Iran has made arrests in connection with the assassination of its chief nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh, according to sources of Iran’s semi-official news agency ISNA. An adviser to the Iranian parliament speaker, Hossein Amir Abdollahian, said in a televised address on Iran’s Arabic-language Al-Alam TV that perpetrators of the assassination, some of whom have been identified and even arrested by the security services, will not escape justice.

Iranian state television issued a correction on Tuesday after falsely labeling Pink Floyd guitarist Roger Waters a “political expert” when airing his comments criticizing former Vice President Joe Biden.
