According to the Summit County Sheriff’s Office, law enforcement responded to the following calls between Monday, April 12, and Sunday, April 18.
Saturday, April 17
Deputies responded to Francis for a report of a family fight. Deputies indicated the family’s adult daughter had a drinking problem and was arguing with family members. The daughter indicated she wanted to leave the residence for the evening and deputies indicated they did not take further action.
Deputies arrested a person for having an outstanding warrant.

The Cleveland Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation Announces the Arrest of Bradley Willem Beun
The Cleveland Division of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Northern District of Ohio United States Attorney’s Office, announce the arrest of Bradley Willem Beun, 41 years old, of Uniontown, Ohio.
Mr. Beun is believed to have engaged in an online chat with an FBI employee acting in an undercover capacity on April 15 to 16, 2021. It is alleged that Mr. Beun and the undercover employee discussed Mr. Beun meeting the undercover employee and the employee’s purported eight-year-old daughter at a hotel for sex.

An elderly man’s death last month in Francis and the time it took an ambulance to respond to the scene have prompted changes in how East Side emergency medical services are to be delivered, with officials hoping to avoid another outcome they called tragic, though they stopped short of saying it was preventable.
On March 14, an 86-year-old Francis man collapsed in his front yard, according to a report from the Summit County Sheriff’s Office. Family members said the man had become short of breath and that they were helping him walk when he fell, according to the report. They moved the man to the front porch where he appeared to recover slightly, resuming the ability to speak.
