What is Blue Anon? Urban Dictionary Restores Phrase For Left-Wing Conspiracy Theories
On 3/9/21 at 7:46 AM EST Blue Anon is a term coined by conservatives attacking those who push left-wing conspiracy theories. The phrase returned to the Urban Dictionary website after it appeared to have been temporarily removed. Blue Anon has been used by a number of right-wing personalities in recent days, including political commentator Candace Owens and Georgia congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene.
The phrase is a play on the name of the radical conspiracy theory QAnon, whose supporters believe that Donald Trump is secretly battling a cabal of satanic pedophiles. The group were among those who stormed the Capitol during the January 6 insurrection.

The term and its crowdsourced definition were put back in the Urban Dictionary on Monday, after being disappeared over the weekend. The updated definition begins with calling Blue Anon
