The food she offered was determined not by available food items, but by packaging for it. We went for a reduced menu knowing that there weren t many options for the closed clamshell product available to us, Todero said. We saw what our suppliers had that they were able to get easily. That dictated what we were going to use for the season.

Maryland sues waste management company for $2.1M over river pollution

Capital Gazette, the state of Maryland has sued a Columbia-based Ecology Services Inc. for an estimated $2.1 million on claims that the company operated without a permit for most of last year and violated a stormwater discharge agreement at a site in Pasadena.
The lawsuit includes two counts against the waste management and recycling company for alleged violations at its Baltimore-Annapolis Boulevard property. One count is for operating without a permit for 213 days from Jan. 3 to Aug. 3, 2020. It comes with a civil penalty of up to $10,000 for each day with a permit, according to the suit.
