Martin Earl Horrell, 51, of Blanket passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021. A graveside service will be held in the Rising Star Cemetery, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 3:00 PM officiated by Terry Simmons and directed by Heartland Funeral Home. Marty was born May 9, 1969 in Odessa to James Davis and Dorothy Horrell.  He attended Rising Star High School and worked in maintenance for a health care facility.  Marty was passionate about antique cars and loved Harley Davidson motorcycles.  His favorite past time was playing cards and board games with his family and friends, or riding and working on dirt bikes and four wheelers.  Marty had a knack for technology and a mild fascination with video games.  His favorite thing in the world was spoiling his nephews, niece and their friends to any luxury he could.

He married the love of his life, Judy Burress Ford on January 1, 1988 in Brownwood. Dink was an avid train enthusiast. He enjoyed riding trains and collecting model trains. He loved his dachshunds, and one of his latest four-legged companions passed only two days ahead of him. His greatest love, however, was his love for his family. Donald Ray Crisp, age 80 of May passed away on Tuesday, December 8, 2020. A funeral service will be Thursday, December 10 th at 11:00 am in the Heartland Funeral Home Chapel with interment to follow at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Early. Don was born on Wednesday, May 15, 1940 in Pioneer, Texas to Clinton and Odell Crisp. Don was reared by his grandparents, T.C. and Mary Crisp for whom he had great admiration, respect and love. Don graduated from Rising Star High School in 1958. After graduation he enlisted in the US Army where he served as SGT E-5 in Korea. Donald was a member of the VFW #3278 and enjoyed fishing during his retirement years.
