PARIS, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) World leaders on Monday reiterated the urgent need for concerted global action to safeguard biodiversity and for a global governance framework on climate issues in the post-pandemic era.
The coronavirus pandemic put climate issues on the back burner in 2020. France and the UN hope the summit will get global leaders again talking about climate change policy and protecting biodiversity.
